Philippe Tremblay

Philippe is the senior lawyer, having previously served as LWBC Program Officer for Colombia and Director of Legal Affairs.

He holds a Master's degree in International Law and previously worked for the Association for the Prevention of Torture in Geneva, where he coordinated the campaign for the Optional Protocol to the UN Convention against Torture and set up a program for the Asia-Pacific region.

Philippe has also served as a delegate for the International Committee of the Red Cross in Colombia and Afghanistan, as a Protection Officer with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees mission in Rwanda, and as a research officer with Rights & Democracy. He has also served as Director of Programmes at the International Bureau for Children's Rights.

Philippe has been a member of the LWBC'S team since 2009.
